Band History: ____________________________________________________ The Stephen Davis Project was born in a Las Vegas hotel room in 2004 when Steve looked up from his glass of Jack Daniels and said, "Man, I got some songs, but I need some lyrics. I can't write a sentence." It just so happened that his brother-in-law Harry had some lyrics, but no tunes. Band Bio: ___________________________________________________________ Steve Davis (Tacoma, WA): My profession is computers (programming) but my passion is music. I'm a closet musician (play guitar & sing) not publicly, just for my own enjoyment. I have my own crude (inexpensive) home PC recording studio of which I use to record and produce my music. Recently I started collaborating with my brother in-law, Harry Lockwood, who writes all the song lyrics, emails them to me and then I put them to music. Since 06/04 we've completed three songs (posted here) and are currently working on a few more... ___________________________________________________________ Harry Lockwood (Santa Clara, CA): As Chief Lyrics Officer (CLO) for the Stephen Davis Project, I try to breathe some life into the otherwise hum-drum existence of working for a major corporation. Many of the song lyrics were composed in the middle of meetings on Risk Management. ___________________________________________________________
