Can Batukan (vocals/guitar), Cem Simsek (guitar), Cihan Cinemre (bass guitar) and Uner Altay (drums) came together in the summer of 2004 to write their own songs. Some of the bands they admire are: The Fall, Pixies, Joy Division, Buzzcocks, The Clash, Sonic Youth, Feelies, Pavement, Wedding Present...

DDR recorded two demo albums up to now and played gigs at different venues of Istanbul.
